I’ve just wrapped up the interior artwork for my upcoming book,ย Rumpus on the Run: A Monster Look-n-Find Book, and now it’s time to decide on a cover. Let me know which design you like best by leaving a comment below–it just might be the cover that gets printed!

I’m going to be a pain here. I like the background and size/color of your name in 2 but I like the size of the title in 3. I don’t care for rumpus or the title boxed in.
1 works if the title was larger.
Please forgive me?

I like how 4 has the yellow behind the title, I think it needs that to stand out and not get lost in the artwork. That being said I like pie slice divisions that number 1 has.

I like #4 because I like the color block behind both the text and the Rumpus.
-
I like 4 because the yellow-green background around the title stands out more clearly. The yellow-green could substitute here for white space.

I think #1 & #4 combined would be great. The white shadow in the monster and the fanned out background images with the non-black lines in between look really good, but the title gets lost. The title on #4 is really good with the organization of the text (big on top, small on bottom) and the yellow background that makes it stand out.

I say four!

#4!

The title is hands down the best on #4 with the block color behind it.
On the other hand, the diagonal lines in #1 showing off 8 interior pages instead of 4 look great too. I also like the combination of warm/cool colors in the background, whereas the background of #4 is mostly blues/greens and they kind of blend together a bit more. I’d combine elements of #4 and #1

I like the standout title on 4, but the background image choices on 5.

Five.

The logo of #4 is strongest, with the flat colour behind the text as an aid to legibility, but the bkgd colours of #5 (first choice) & #1 catch the eye.

I love 4 best!

5. love 5. like the warm colors going on. 4 seems a bit monochromatic and too faded for me. it’s 5 ๐
