CELEBRATE THE SUMMER OF FREE!

2013 has been a busy year for me – I moved into a new studio, finished two books for children, made a t-shirt for DisneyPixar’s Toy Story, and taught a 5-day workshop on making comics for teens. Phew! I thought I’d take just a minute to breathe in some of that Summer air and enjoy the sunshine. In fact, let’s all celebrate the season with some freebies!

The Alt Press Fest is an independent zine festival, featuring artists, authors, musicians, demos and workshops, held at the Salt Lake City Library. I’ll be passing out free coloring pages and temporary tattoos, so stop by and say “hi”–the event is free! Check it out this Saturday, July 13, from 12-6pm at the Main Library (201 E 400 S SLC, UT).
