Emily Carroll does it again with her new comic, The Prince & The Sea. As with most of her work, it’s a quick, but inspiring and rewarding read.

The Prince & The Sea is a dark fantasy romance following the love between a prince and a mermaid. The storybook artwork and narrative work perfectly with each other and become a single, fluid story, that pushes toward the climax.

If you haven’t had a chance to check out Emily Carroll’s work yet, now is the time. Her site is filled with beautiful pictures and amazing stories. I can’t wait for her to come out with a graphic novel, or a collection of her short comics.
