Sometimes it’s easy, but most of the time it can be a very difficult conversation.
Yeah, I like how schmoozers steal from artists and act like it’s a big “win-win.” I especially dislike cities that market themselves as supportive of “cultural creatives,” when artists are supposed to create “value add” for their real estate deals, while “volunteering” their services. Artists working with artists and bartering are different scenarios though.
