RON SWANSON: THE MAN, THE MYTH, THE LEGEND

Last September I made this portrait of Parks and Rec character, Ron Swanson. I love the reserved libertarian and his deadpan antics, so I couldn’t help but draw the guy. Not only did Parks and Rec tweet the picture across the Twittersphere, but the limited-edition print found a home with fans all across the globe!

Imagine my joy, then, when Ron showed up in the home of Utah photographer, Snapshot Junkie!

Snapshot Junkie has captured some of my favorite loves, including historic and abandoned buildings, vintage signs, rusty vehicles and Utah landscapes. Unlike most photographers today, SJ still prepares his own plates and develops many of his photos in his own darkroom, offering even more to love in his images.
