Lucy Knisley has made what is easily my favorite series of images of the year in her pictorial summary of Harry Potter in 8 parts.

Each picture summarizes a book, with the last book being split into two pictures.

While each picture has, no doubt, taken Lucy hours and hours to make, she’s unable to sell the prints, because the characters and stories don’t belong to her. Makes sense, right? Instead of payment, Lucy is asking for donations in exchange for the pictures.

Don’t tell my wife, but I’m planning on printing and framing each piece in two sets: one for her mom’s office, and one for my wife’s kindergarten classroom.
