Doug TenNapel’s Ratfist was a web comic sensation last year, and he’s at it again with a new story called Nnewts. Updating just once a week, a full page of Nnewts comes out each Wednesday. Hey–that’s today!

Anyone that knows my taste in comics knows that I’ve been loving Doug’s work for a long time now. If you aren’t familiar with his graphic novels (Ghostopolis, Bad Island, Creature Tech to name a few), then you might know Doug as the creator of Earthworm Jim or the Nickelodeon cartoon Catscratch. If those don’t sound familiar, then you might know his video games, Jurassic Park, or The Neverhood. Actually, his list of tv, film, children’s publishing, graphic novels and comics just goes on and on.

His work is the perfect mixture of quirky and spooky, with artwork that masterfully compliments his writing. Doug is a real force in the world of storytelling and I can’t recommend enough checking out his books–especially Gear, Creature Tech and Iron West.
