The Alt Press Fest is a one-day independent zine festival featuring artists and authors, music, demos and workshops, held at the Salt Lake City library, home to one of the largest zine collections in the world! The Alt Press Fest is a great way to meet local artists and authors, to load up on mini comics and zines, and to get a peek into the creation process. Did I mention that the Alt Press Fest is FREE?!

Last year I was invited to set up a table with sketchbooks, comics, stories, coloring books, look-n-find pages, original drawings, temporary tattoos and t-shirts, and this year I’ll also have copies of my graphic novel, Upside Down: A Vampire Tale.

The Alt Press Fest will be held this Saturday, July 13, from 12-6pm at the Main Library (201 E. 400 S. SLC, UT). Find out more via their website, and read about last year’s event here.
