EVENTS

Visiting schools, libraries, bookstores, festivals, and conventions is easily one of my favorite parts of being a creator!

Meeting with readers, artists, students, and attendees to talk about writing, drawing, and making comics is a singular joy, and few things get me more excited than meeting other creators and learning about their own projects and creative goals. Unfortunately, I suffer from serious health issues that keep me bedridden and which are exacerbated by sitting, standing, and walking. This makes it incredibly to participate in the events I love so much.

Occasionally, I experience brief periods of relief, and I try to involve myself in events as the opportunities arise. These, however, are rare exceptions from my bedridden state. (More about my condition here.)

While I continue to seek a diagnosis and treatment, I’m sharing my work online. You can sign up for my email list, connect with me on Instagram, find me on Facebook, or join my First Readers Club (where I give you the chance to read the rough drafts for my newest books before anyone sees them).
