Recently, I was commissioned to make a giant Where’s Bigfoot? illustration. (You know, like a Where’s Waldo?, but with bigfoot.) I’ve been snapping a few photos of the drawing process along the way and thought I’d share ’em here.
For all you equipment junkies: I’m drawing with a Micron 08 technical pen on 11×14″ Strathmore smooth Bristol Board. When the drawing is finished, I’ll have two pages this size:

So, the coloring pages were part of the Doodler’s Anonymous contest, but I think it ended a few weeks ago. Or are you talking about the Monster Coloring Book I made?

I hear ya! One of the most difficult things an artist can do, I think, is to satiate their inner-perfectionist. There are so many pictures I’ve made that just didn’t live up to the idea I was after, but there are others that turned out a lot better than what I had set out to do.
